I came back from my chemo treatment and felt so down. Even tho it went well and I really tolerated it. But according to the Nurse the coming weeks are the worst when it takes effect....but seeing those hearts and feeling the love well it made me cry and I felt the love. You people rock, you really truly do....

17. Yes. I only need four and then radiation and hormone pills

The removed all the lymph nodes and I hope I don't get lymph edema. Altho my arm is almost the same as it used to be for now. The say the accumulative effect gets worst with each treatment. With only four maybe it won't be bad. I am extremely lucky as compared to some people. All the nodes but five were clear. And at first they didn't find anything the pathologist picked it up. I still love you people. Every time some post about someone being sick, or needing prayers you jump right in. Even tho it is not when you can give hearts etc. You just cheer the people up.

I have seen a lot of posting on the republican sites and they never ever try to cheer up their fellow posters. That just proves Democrats are the 'HEART' PARTY.

26. What wonderful news about the nodes!

I only had 3 taken in '05, all negative, and so far haven't had the first problem. Been through it 3 times and still chugging along.

I'm so glad DU can help you through your cancer treatment and that those hearts give you a lift. You need and deserve it with what you're going through.

6. This site has tolerated me for nearly a decade

and I can't think of any place on the net that could possibly have done that.

Yes, the coming weeks will be tougher than you can imagine. Drugs can help and make sure they prescribe the whole candy store so you can find a combo that will allow you to function as much as possible. Lay in a supply of Slim Fast or Ensure or something else liquid for those days you really, really don't want to eat. They can keep your strength up and save your life.

Most of all, learn to tell people what you need. Most won't know unless you do tell them.

Above all, remember this too shall pass. We lived through Stupid's stolen 8 years, didn't we?
