Katharine Graham must be spinning in her grave
Was the only comment I could come up with upon reading this drivel in the Washington Post: Gerard Alexander: Why are liberals so condescending?

Katharine Graham was the publisher of the Post back in the day when it launched the Watergate investigation. You know, journalism.

With the likes of Gerard Alexander and Krauthammer spewing their drivel, shouldn't WaPo just merge with the Washington Times and quit pretending to engage in unbiased reporting of the news?

1. When I read this crap a couple of days ago, I posted
an answer and was angry enough to put it into my journal, second one down.

2. She tried to be fair, but it was Katherine Graham in cooperation
with Nancy Reagan that led the push to look on Republicans
more favorably.

The Grahams are one of more outstanding Republican families
in D.C.

The editorial page of the WaPo is covered from a Republican
Perspective.

3. There is quite a gulf between what you speak of,
and waging open verbal warfare on a party, either party, and its followers. While Art Buchwald had quite a bit of fun with Nixon, Agnew, and the Watergate bunch, it was never done in the spirit of what the rag publishes currently.

4. The WaPo was Pro Bush and carried his water on the wars.
