Ron Paul: ‘Neocon influence’ is infiltrating tea parties

In the face of several electoral challenges from tea party-connected candidates, Texas Republican Congressman Ron Paul cautioned in a recent interview that "neocon influence" is "infiltrating" the movement he is often credited for creating.

Speaking to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow on Tuesday night, Paul first took up for the tea parties as a natural reaction of the people when they are unhappy with government. What they are not, he explained, are entirely adherent to his ideas. Paul suggested that the group only "sometimes" represents his views.

1. If Sarah Palin is the teabagger poster girl, then I'd have to agree with Ron Paul
It's no secret that Bill Kristol of PNAC claims to have "discovered" Moosealini, and he and his fellow neocon shitbags continue to pull her strings.

2. Apparently, several teabaggers are challenging Paul. Hope they knock each other out.

5. In other news: White people are "infiltrating" the Klan
I don't get it. Did he really think it wasn't a neocon thing from day one?

6. Sarah Palin is certainly a neocon tool. Cheney and Bill Chrystal keep in touch
with her. Her statement on how Obama should attack Iran seals the deal in my eyes. She is the newest neocon puppet.

8. If this isn't the ultimate proof of the "Astroturfed" nature of the movement,
I'm not sure what is.

9. The tea party will be coopted and dissolved by the GOP the way the antiwar movement was coopted
and dissolved by the DLC/Chicago gang.
