I hope so, because there can be no doubt whose support they would drain from.

2. I can see Sarah Palin being their candidate.
I don't think the GOP will allow Sarah to run on their ticket because she already reminds people of a failed attempt.

But what the heck, the GOP is crazy anyway, so this might just appeal to them!

4. That would be sweet to have Sarah as a third party candidate.

6. I'd like to see Sarah go third party AFTER she completely disrupts the GOP primary.
Must-see TV.

8. But some of the tea partiers are running in the other direction!
Case in point : look at the insurgency against the "Godfather" of the Tea Party himself, Ron Paul!

9. LOL. Well, the tea partiers are splintering into different groups, a sure sign that
it will disintegrate and just fold back into the GOP.

10. I think they (had) every intention to do this....
When the infighting starter over the Tea Party Nations Convention remember Rep. Blackburn and Rep. Bauchman dropped out of there already scheduled appearance..The Republicans want their votes but want to pick the candidates..That is one reason Palin wants the two to work together.

12. As much as Dick Armey is behind much of the movement, I think not.
I think if Armey, et al, begin to see a threat they'll find a way to seriously disrupt any chance that a teabagger presidential candidate will appear on any ballots.

This wouldn't prevent teabaggers from trying, but without support from the Republican establishment, I don't think they have the brainpower or budget to do it.
