Lookie what Fux Snooze is upset about now...
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/09/anti-tea-party-web-site-scheme-funnel-funds/?loomia_ow=t0:s0:a16:g2:r5:c0.080413:b30411454:z0

A seemingly grassroots organization that's mounted an online campaign to counter the tea party movement is actually the front end of an elaborate scheme that funnels funds -- including sizable labor union contributions -- through the offices of a prominent Democratic party lawyer.

A Web site popped up in January dedicated to preventing the tea party's "radical" and "dangerous" ideas from "gaining legislative traction," targeting GOP candidates in Illinois for the firing squad.

"This movement is a fad," proclaims TheTeaPartyIsOver.org, which was established by the American Public Policy Center (APPC), a D.C.-based campaign shop that few people have ever heard of.

But a close look reveals the APPC's place in a complex network of money flowing from the mountainous coffers of the country's biggest labor unions into political slush funds for Democratic activists.

1. Here's the link to the counter tea party site, for those who don't want to go to foxnews.

3. The cute little TeaBaggers don't even realize they are funded by Dick Armey and his corporate
sponsors who want to see no banking, heal care or consumer reforms as it will be bad for their business. The Teabaggers as always vote against their own self interest. Or they are just motivated by all things not Obama.

7. Wrong that it's happening? Or wrong FAUX is complaining?
If the latter: Weeeeel, since THEY have been a corporate promotor/sponsor of the 'grassroots' tea bag movement, it takes a lot of gall for them to complain about someone else doing similar things.

8. There's nothing wrong with soliciting funds to fight the 'baggers.
I was just amused that Fux was so upset by the attack on Armey's little Astroturf group.

9. Was Armey at the convention?
I watched a few minutes of it, but didn't have the stomach to watch the other speakers. Sarah gives me heartburn and Armey would have done me in for sure.

10. I have no idea. I imagine he keeps far away from his little projects, though.

5. Heh, heh, heh
We'll see if the Turnabout is Fair Play rule still holds, or if the popular media will once again suddenly decide to go digging into a "grassroots" organization for obscure reasons that have nothing to do with a threat to their economic status.

6. Again, a classic case of projection from the RRRight. If they weren't doing
such stuff themselves, how do RRR "grassroots" movements know the machinations so very well?
