Just saw Ron Reagan on Tweety. Anybody know if he's got a new gig anywhere?
They've replaced his time slot with Randi on my local progressive radio, and I don't see a place for him elsewhere in the lineup. I was happy to see him today -- I like him and think there's definitely a spot for him. Somewhere.
4. KPTK, the Seattle progressive station, was going to have him continue
his show after AAR folded, but he decided to get out of radio for awhile (or so the station announcement said). I had heard that he was shopping his show around, but I haven't heard any details.
I really hope he gets back on the air again soon. I loved his show.
10. I'm wondering if he'll get a 'guest' spot on MSNBC like he was today. Tweety
said "I miss you when you're not here!"
Yes, we THE avatar. I have it so I don't become complacent and forget (same reason I have the tag line I do.) Hopefully, there will come a day when neither applies -- no longer needing our attention. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
after AAR went down the tubes they replaced Ron with Nor-Man Gold-Man and I'm having a hard time listening to him. He's too loud and kind of obnoxious. Ron was soft spoken and had a very intelligent show that was a pleasure listening to. I miss him and hope he turns up again soon.
12. I really wish KPTK would stop making lame excuses not to air programs live
They used to air Ron Reagan live and kicked him aside for Schultz' sidekick Norm. Now that Ron is gone altogether, there's nothing preventing them from airing Mike Malloy at 6:00 like they should have been doing all along.
Randi? Sorry, she was dead to me when she started kissing DLC ass after she moved inside the Beltway. I swear it's in the water or the air there or something. Trashing Keith Olbermann's health care special was the last straw.
