Guess who was picked for the Nuclear Fuel disposal commission????
Remember this?
WASHINGTON—The Energy Department filed to withdraw an application for a nuclear-waste repository at Yucca Mountain, formally seeking Wednesday to reverse a Bush administration policy.

The Obama administration's Energy Department has said that it hopes to develop a new plan for long-term disposal of nuclear waste. The Energy Department has established a blue-ribbon panel to make recommendations.

Turns out the panel is headed by....roll drums please...

Lee Hamilton and Brent Scowcroft.

Secretary of Energy Steven Chu announced Jan 29 a Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future. The Commission, led by Lee Hamilton and Brent Scowcroft, will provide recommendations on managing spent nuclear fuel and fission waste products.

Hamilton is the go to guy anytime the government wants a white washed panel, Commission, etc.
He shows up time after time after time:
911 Commission ( along with buddy Thomas Kean)
Iraq Study Group ( along with buddy James Baker III, who is everywhere, it seems)
Hart-Rudman Commission
co-chairman of the Commission to Investigate Certain Security Issues at Los Alamos.

Heavily tied to right wing organizations and the MIC.
Sits on CIA and Homeland Security Councils.

I do not anticipate positive results coming from the Nuclear Waste Study Commission.

6. Ah, "new blood"
Hamilton is 79 years old, Scowcroft 85. Couldn't they at least find anyone who got out of school in the sixties or later?

10. They are part of bushco
They have helped bushco in many ways, always at the expense of the taxpayers and justice. And Jeb is being prepped to take the helm.
