1. I can't wait for the outrage
against him to start pouring in. I do however, expect crickets from the "usual suspects"

2. DK just plays the game differently. Holding out until now is a valid strategy.
Were there many more like him, it might have made more difference.

He did the right thing in the end, and I thank him.

4. No. I am sure he struggled with the decision.
I have no issue with him on this, or with any of the others who have fought the good fight but decided to take this path in the end.

5. He's one of the few who are not, but you know that.
Everything Kucinich says and does makes a lot of sense to me.

So he held out trying to strengthen the damn thing. Big deal!

I also like his elfin qualities, and I've seen UFOs myself.

Dennis rocks!

7. yes
Disgusting. Kucinich has lost all credibility now. The right wing elements of the party that told us he was grandstanding were correct.

15. Compared to the dems?
Kucinich has lost credibility? How about a democratic party that had the presidency, the senate, the house, and around a 70 percent public support for some form of a public option and after a year they turn it into mandated health insurance? To more precise, the dems have a ton of credibility with the corporations, but I was talking about credibility with the voters.

And just exactly how did you learn about his intentions and what went on behind the scenes before he stated his vote change? I'm guessing that you don't have any inside information so it sure looks like that you're blindly jumping on board with the right wing smear bandwagon which says more about your credibility than your biased statement did about Kucinich's credibility.

10. Hey
I have have been angry at DK, but I always respected him. He did a very hard thing, and I thank him for it. The only people who get happy when we fight on this board are the damn freepers, who are the people we SHOULD be reserving all this venom for.

17. I think he did the best he could under very difficult circumstances
He tried to push for a better bill, but he couldn't do it alone. So he decided that it's time to settle for what we can get -- for now.
