Republicans must be extremely desperate now, w/ Cantor lying about the random bullet that landed
in the building where he has some office space. Talk about stretching!

3. can someone explain how a bullet can enter a window
as it falls back to earth?

I'm not doubting what the police are saying, but I'm having a hard time understanding the mechanics.
And that is frustrating.

4. Gravity's Rainbow
A ballistic arc.

Unless the bullet goes exactly straight up it will not come exactly straight down unless air resistance had completely stopped all lateral momentum, which is seldom the case with bullets.

Imagine firing a bullet at a 45 degree angle to the horizon. It will go up, then eventually down while continually going forward. (Until it hits something)

5. ahhh... ok,
I think I understand. It was kind of still going forward on it's way down?
I was trying to picture it falling straight down and going through a window on it's way down. unless the window was slanted or the earth was moving awfully fast I couldn't picture it.:dunce:

Thanks-

6. A slingshot would do it.
And you'd be sure that way of making the news and not having anyone killed.

8. isn't the Republican mantra something along the lines of "you can't go into an urban"
(black) "area without getting shot"?

And they find a bullet lying outside an office building ... imagine that ...

I've heard that they still find bullets on occasion in the battlefield at Gettysburg ...
