6. I simply don't - cannot - watch it anymore

Living in Texas is bad enough but listening to crap corporate news and rightwing nutjob radio would take it over the top - I prefer to get alternative news from the internet (I do research the sources). It works because I'm able to shoot down the most anti-Obama zealots in a very short period of time.

8. The MSM is total crap.

It has been slanted to the right for a long time. I get more of my news from the net too. I don't think cable news nor the mainstream sources from ABC, NBC and CBS are as relied upon as much as they used to be because of the popularity of the net.

Luckily, I like where I live, in Connecticut. I would find it really hard to ever move from New England. The congestion on the roads is nuts (lots of people living in a small state) and stores are packed on the weekends. But there are not too many crazy nutters around and if there are some, they don't come out and bother anyone too often.

Certainly, the enthusiasm gap has been erased, as per last week's WaPo/ABC poll taken right after HCR passed. The WaPo/ABC poll is considered the gold standard by pollsters.

I'm from the 17th district in IL, and now they are after Phil Hare for a statement. The ghouls are spinning everything into the negative. President Obama doesn't have a chance with the constant lies, re-lies, and what can they lie about tomorrow. polls- they don't address that people on the left are often not happy with President Obama; the war, lack of public option/single payer etc.. You get the impression that the unsastified with...Obama's whatever... poll numbers are all going to support republicans. I have many friends further left than me that aren't really happy, but they sure wanted health reform, and won't be voting republican. I think the polls don't reflect other concerns,they make it sound like all the unhappy people are leaning right.
