1. Except in teaklanner wet dreams, Mexico wants nothing to do with this.
Nor do any democratic LatAm countries.

They know us too well. :)

3. It will be the NAU. People will still be citizen's of their country but the borders won't really
mean much.

5. The NAU is a logical viable solution. A common market and common currency along with a regional
government with power. It's taken the EU a long time to finally give the central government some power and hopefully they will get the European central bank to where it needs to be to work. We should be able to get a North American Parliament and North American central bank running with real power a lot earlier in the NAU.

7. The isolationist, nationalists and and traditionalists said the same thing about the EU and the Euro
and laughed just like your little picture.

Just because RW talk show hosts tell you that every single American HAS to agree with them on protection of US sovereignty, doesn't mean we have to agree on it.

11. No fucking way. This country is already too big, too out of control and corrupt as hell.
Wanna see the politicians really run amok with their unchecked corruption and shred the Constitution once and for all?

Because that's EXACTLY what will happen if they are allowed to put the North American Union in place.

12. Nah, we're not about to lower ourselves. Thanks for the invite, though.
I mean, for Chrissakes, isn't it enough that you've tried to invade us a number of times, and that every President up to and including Ford has entertained plans to annex us? Or that you own about 90 per cent of our industries? Or that your culture is so pervasive, voluminous, and loud that it completely swamps ours? Now you'd want us to repeal universal health care, gay marriage, and other socially progressive legislation and go back to the Stone Age (all right, the Bronze Age, then)?

Not gonna happen. For one thing, I know I would flatly refuse to share my nationality with Glenn Beck. Frankly, it's presumptuous and very self-aggrandizing of Americans to assume that folks from other countries want to be Americans.

13. Fine. Can you move your civil/drug war a few miles south, however?
It's getting a little close.
