5. These were actually released after he had won the election...

The story goes that one of his classmates put out a notice asking students to model for her. Well Obama showed up. She took these pictures and stored 'em away for years. Didn't think twice until he became known and decided to develop them. Well instead of releasing them during the election (she didn't want to stir up some pointless controversy), she decided to wait. Then did.

7. I saw her interviewed ...

she was interesting and kind of funny.

The woman interviewing her asked her if she had had a crush or dated Obama, and she replied to the effect that she was not the most attractive woman in those days certainly, and he hadn't shown any interest in her - but all good-humored. It was a fun broadcast IIRC.

Also we were in the radiant swoon of the election going our way for a change.
