How many heads would explode?

How many sitting Republican Senators would be willing to tie their political futures to Sarah Palin's performance, or to how her capabilities to handle such a job would be perceived by the voters.

How many talk show hosts would be willing to put their reputations on the line?

Of course, Sarah would find some excuse not to serve her country when duty calls (if only because she must know in her heart accepting such a position would be tantamount to treason.)

And, of course, Obama would never ask her to serve. Still, I would like to see the name floated. Just to see how this political football would be played by the usual suspects.
