BP request to drill Alaska (off shore drilling.)
Okay I was listening to a replay of the Young Turks show. They where talking about how new off shore regulations are being written (nothing is in stone.) but one thing that is interesting is the exemptions BP would like for one off shore drill site which would go 2 miles down and than 6 miles horizonaly....

It got me thinking now what type of scam is this because if it is drilling in that fashion I have to wonder if BP is trying to tap oil it can't get to by "normal" channels --could this oil be in Canadian zone? Could it be close to a Russian owned land/area? Or could it be under the polar caps.

Perhaps I'm jumping the gun but maybe this might be something worth looking into?

1. It could also be ANWR.
They're sneaky enough to try.

4. Sounds like they are refering to the Liberty Project.
I posted about this. A few days after the well blow it in the Gulf, there was a lot of activity heading out that way. Never did find out exactly what was up with it.

Liberty is going to be the largest non mobile drilling rig that will drill the farthest horizontal well in N. America.
