5. I'm not disagreeing that they're trying to use the meme... I'm just saying it isn't new

I've been reading and hearing since Obama became president that he is "anti-business" on sites like CNBC and bloomberg.com.

What do you think all the "socialist" fervor has been about?

6. That was the first thing I heard on TV this morning, and that's what I thought as well.
Change the focus. Memo goes out overnight to all operatives...Obama bad for business. Rinse, repeat...

And the M$M goes right along with it, just like they've been told to by their corporate owners.

But no, we don't need a Fairness Doctrine. We don't need laws to ensure news is reported honestly, and commentary is clearly labeled as such. I would say 90% of what is presented to us today as news is really commentary.

Fuck. The. M$M. (Start with Chuck Todd and David Gregory. Please!)

8. I don't understand, I have read over and over again
that our President is a butt kissing corporate stooge/puppet (or a corporatist, take your pick).

Seems someone or both are mistaken in their interpretations of our President.

My feeling is both were/are wrong. The President isn't looking to destroy all corporations. However he is also not going to allow big business to make $$$$ by hurting the American people.

9. New?

Does the name "Joe the Plumber" ring a bell? The RW exalted him from on high because he played into their fears of Obama being anti-business.

10. The public does not agree. CNN's own poll on the escrow account showed the public approved of it by
82%.
