Up and down the line, no matter what the issue, if a Democrat says the best way is <--- that way, every Repubican, in lock step, will say the best way is ---> that way. The issue doesn't even matter any more.

I see absolutely no indication that this will change any time soon.

That leaves the reality that trying for Repubican support on ANYthing is a losing proposition. It is time to admit that and rally our own party around a set of principles and move forward ON OUR OWN.

4. I take issue with, "every Repubican, in lock step, will say the best way is ---> that way"
The Repubs haven't offered any thing in the way of ideas, contrary, or otherwise, in the past decade or so..

6. It is possible. It has happened in the past under Eisenhower most notably,
but as long as the billionaire barons are feeding the lunatic fringe of the right wing because they like how disruptive they are, there won't be any sensible bipartisanship down the road in the near future.

8. Part the problem as I see it is that a lot of dems (not all)
say ---> is the way to go, while the pubs want it --------------> way.

So the dems, who lean to the right anyway feel that there can and should be working together. You are correct that it will never happen, but I continue to see almost every major policy shifting further and further to the right with no end in sight, regardless of party affiliation.

they will do anything to get back in power they think being partisan is the way to go,.

10. The concept is functionally absurd.
Why on earth would you even want cooperative power with proven loonies with only failed ideas and expressed animosity and disdain for wide swaths of the population?

Sometimes even very stupid ideas can sometimes sound evolved and reasoned.

The very idea of bipartisanship after any observation of the Republicans their policy ideas, temperament, behavior, tactics, strategies, values, and ideals is a scam. We can debate who is the target of the scam until the results come in but to deny the scam is either a display of naivety that would stun a newborn or proof of being on the inside or supportive of the scam.

It's totally perplexing to see the full throated vilification of a group while the very same people lamenting the group's utterly contemptible nature then demand their behavior, tactics, and policy be adopted.
