Reid Takes Lead in Nevada

A new Las Vegas Review-Journal/Mason Dixon poll in Nevada shows Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) has opened a strong lead over challenger Sharron Angle (R), 44% to 37%, "after pummeling her in a ubiquitous TV and radio ad campaign that portrays the Tea Party favorite as 'too extreme.""

Said pollster Brad Coker: "He's had five perfect weeks. The race has been all about her, and he's been doing a good job of pounding her."

This is the best Reid has done against Angle this year in a series of Mason-Dixon polls. Previously, the two had been locked in a statistical dead heat with Angle finishing just ahead of Reid in February, 44% to 42%, and in June, 44% to 41%, and Reid finishing just ahead of Angle in May, 42% to 39%.

These results also track another recent poll of the race.

1. Yugo! Harry!
May her campaign continue to sputter smoke and fumes, much like that ancient, designed obsolescent POS.

5. I think there are people in Nevada
that obviously see the hypocrisy in one of her ads. The Angle ad just has this doom and gloom music (she does no talking) and pictures of Reid with some job stats. Then she goes on TV and tells people it's not a senators job to create jobs, while she attacks Reid for apparently not creating jobs.

Just her stance on abortion, I wouldn't vote for her. If my daughter was raped, especially at the tender age of twelve or thirteen, I wouldn't think it's God's plan. Also, at that age mother mortality is high and since I value and care about my daughter, my first concern would be for my daughter. She is not a friend of women.

And, I think she believes that education and any form of health care should be the responsibility of states or corporations (nightmare)--Can you imagine states that care for their citizens that have a great education system and fantastic health care program, compared to states that don't give a damn and have more deregulation and corporate carte blanche with no health care and lousy education and less worker rights--I believe there'd be a vast migration to states that offer better safety nets and education to the people. Her ideas are absolutely terrible.

4. Oh, yeah!
Confirms the other poll that was from a partisan pollster!
