They appreciate Monsanto's generosity so much they're burning it. Awesome, and good for them!

I thought Clinton apologized for fucking up their rice production.
Enough is enough! Good for the Haitians.

14. Is there any charity that is donating real seeds to Hati
seeds that people can save and grow another crop of real food from? I would love to donate to it.

15. I've been looking and can't find anything specifically for seed.
But .... was disappointed to learn the Monsanto freak seed is to be distributed by USAID. A gov't of a poor, ravaged nation will be hard-pressed not to accept this, imo. Let's just hope Jean-Baptiste and the Haitian farmers who know what happens when Monsanto moves in can fight it off. What Monsanto is doing is evil, and sad.

19. Now maybe the U.S. can do something about their control
over seeds and their thugs visiting farmers with threats, who do what farmers always have done, collect and save their seeds for the following year. How did this murderous Corporation ever get a patent on something that should be free for all people to use?

Good for those Haitian Farmers. Amazing that they know more than the average American about how these huge Corps operate and what a trap they would have been in had they accepted their 'gift'.

I guess Haiti's got it's problems solved if it wants to burn donations.

26. Nice, but how much did they REALLY burn?
"A symbolic quantity," for all I know, could mean a single seed got torched.
