Judge: Ohio man can't form own Indian reservation
Judge: Ohio man can't form own Indian reservation

An Ohio man who claimed that his American Indian ancestry makes him exempt from city nuisance laws has been ordered to clean up two homes that have fallen into disrepair.

A judge told William Bowersock on Thursday that he has 30 days to take care of the properties in Lima (LY'-muh).

The judge rejected Bowersock's argument that he had seceded from the local government and formed his own Indian reservation, thereby making him exempt from the city's property code.

3. How far back in your ancestry
could you have a full bloodied Indian relative and then you be considered of Native American ancestry. I mean some places say you have to be 1/4. Well I would be 1/24th. My 4xgreatgrandmother was a full bloodied Monacan Indian. My nephew tested his genetic background and had 20%Native American blood. If it wasn't so expensive I would test my genetic ancestry and see how much there is in mine. Genetics say that in some people's genetic background more of one type shows up than in another very close relative. I just wonder.

4. This guy is not legitimate. He is just trying to thwart local code
laws. That is his primary purpose and intent.
Not valid.
