Exquisite Corpse: Falwell Into Lucifers Arms! Karma Ran Over His Dogma. Add a Random Spiritual Quote
This man, this tiny, slimy overblown man, has left his putrescence and corpulence to be smacked around in the eternal echo chamber of his own evil projections and hypocritical hatred. Don’t be hatin’!! Love the poor maggot stripped of his slimy shell -- he must face his Maker and the emanations of the HATRED that he made his Life’s work. Your awareness of a sense of spirit and Life in the Universe will sear his wormlike lack-of-consciousness much more than any paintball of hatred you try to point at him.

Here’s a fun site full of buttons for random quotes from various spiritual traditions. Please pick a button and post a Corpse Exquisite tribute to he who Fell Well.

Here’s what I got:

A ruffled mind makes a restless pillow. -  Charlotte Bronte

Here is a test to find whether your mission on earth is finished.
If you're alive it isn't.

Illusions, Richard Bach

An ancient master said, "When you boil rice, know that the water is your own life."

(Essential Zen)

The master shines.

He never says "mine."
Gold, stone, earth—
They are all the same to him.

He is not bound by sloth,
Nor consumed by his own activity.

He has severed the knots which bind his heart.

-Ashtavakra Gita 18:88

1. here is one
Wisdom is not a question of learning facts with the mind;
it can only be acquired through perfection of living.

3. Here's the one I grabbed off the bat...
"Why does no one confess his sins?
Because he is yet in them.
It is for a man who has awoke from sleep to tell his dreams".

Seneca

Does it apply to Fartwell? If so, he will never awake to confess his sins. Which is OK, many of us are well aware of them.

Cool site.

5. And I picked a random Blavatsky quote for myself...
Some religion/philosophy quiz I took once said I was most like Blavatsky, of whom I know very little or why I'm anything like her (I don't think I buy into theosophy - I don't believe in I.D.). Anyway, here's my Magic Eight Ball quote from her page on the site you linked:

"Friends and foes! Criticism is the sole salvation from intellectual stagnation. It is the beneficent goad which stimulates to life and action - hence to healthy changes - the heavy ruminants called Routine and Prejudice, in private as in social life. Adverse opinions are like conflicting winds which brush from the quiet surface of a lake the green scum that tends to settle upon still waters. If every clear stream of independent thought, which runs through the field of life outside the old grooves traced by Public Opinion, had to be arrested and to come to a standstill, the results would prove very sad. The streams would no longer feed the common pond called Society, and its waters would become still more stagnant than they are. Result: it is the most orthodox "authorities" of the social pond who would be the first to get sucked down still deeper into its ooze and slime."

I do agree with that.

11. No Mercy, No Religion; Just the Playing of It All
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." (James 4:14. One of my favorite quotes, regardless.)

I feel absolutely nothing for this horrid bastard--not proud of the admission, but there it is. Ever since I heard about the news, yesterday early afternoon, when Falwell was still alive, I took an extended trip down memory lane, and all it was was poisonous hate. I thought of, and re-read, countless vicious, lying, venomous attacks on "demonic feminists," and "leftists" "encouraging" terrorists, and the decline of all morality, and on and on, a depressing onslaught of abuse and slander, blaming us for everything, no honesty, no truth, no kindness--nothing but keeping all the wealth, and turning it all to Republican partisan advantage. This prick was not even a Christian.

I learned about what life really means from my Mom, a real Christian, and what death really means, when she died. I still miss her, and always will. This bastard is just like a phony act, a fake presentation, that has now ended, with Jesus saying, perhaps, after all these years of lies, and falsely crying "Lord, Lord"--"I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work inequity," (Matthew 7:23), and a warning to us all, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
"Ye shall know them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:15-16.) There is just nothing good or real about this prick, not even a Christian.

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." (Matthew 5:7.) It might be added: cursed are the merciless, "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." (Matthew 7:2) What a wasted piece of filth--all for trying to take personal, finite advantage, from the universal teachings of God.

13. HS Absolutely apt as always
I don't feel much about him either. Any individual hatemonger is a drop in the bucket of blood that these vampires have much of the public drinking.

The Big Lie is so complete, so ubiquitous, that the biggest Big Liars are accusing the truthseekers of everything THEY do to manipulate a gullible consumer base. Then the Dittoheads repeat the nonsense and it filters throughout the populace.

Good to see you.

12. Exquisite Corpse: by Shriekback
A song by that title by Shriekback

Exquisite Corpse:

Up the stairs, go through the cupboards, secrets are to me
The droppings of the animal I stalk relentlessly
Nothing titillating or deliciously decayed
I guess the truth is nothing special but elusive anyway

Go down on the river bank the watchman shines his torch
But he sees no sign of the exquisite corpse
He sees no sign of the exquisite corpse

All the clues are added up to make a wider scheme
The patterns are so intricate like opiated dreams
The characters I see are only actors in a play
A seedy tv drama to be screened around midday

I follow her to price-check
And get the girl to talk about
Her father and his lawyer and the exquisite corpse
Her father and his lawyer and the exquisite corpse

The city murmurs in its sleep incriminating sounds
Its poisons and its weaponry are scattered all around
I know there's more to all of this than I can touch or see
It's dead and cold and dangerous, but elegant to me

With burning eyes and coffee breath and then a day in court
Still I lay fifty pences on the eyes of this exquisite corpse
I lay fifty pences on the eyes of this exqusite corpse

Of course I don't consider his corpse to be anything near exqusite.....

18. Ah, just what I need. Another website to eat my time.
Thanks alot!

Seriously OM; too cool. I finally found one that seems to apply to ol' Jer (Falwell, that is)

>... people may forget what you said
> ... people may forget what you did
>
> ... but people Never forget how You made Them feel!

Yeah.

Ah, here's another piece of spiritual ditty:

Rat in a drain ditch, caught on a limb
You know better, but I know him

Like I told you, like I said
Steal your face right off your head

And now he's gone
Now he's gone, Lord he's gone
He's gone
Like a steam locomotive rolling down the track
He's gone, gone, and nothing's gonna bring him back
He's gone
