The Right does not believe in fair play
nor ethics
nor journalistic integrity
nor fact checking
nor even truth

The only thing they believe in is winning the fight, thus they attack. They press the attack all of the time on all fronts, thats how they get their messages to stick, no matter how crazy or fact challenged those messages are.

When, and only when the left, progressives, trade unionists, liberals and democrats adopt their message discipline and decibel level will we start to turn their tide of disinformation. We can pass all sorts of legislation, we can adopt positive policy positions, we can pat ourselves on the back about how much smarter we are then they are but until we fight fire with fire we will continue to watch the right bend the media to their will.

You do not reason with bullies, you do not compromise with them, you treat them the same way that they treat others until they start to see that their behavior no longer is paying off. Then and only then will they even consider changing their ways.

4. They will never change their ways.
If we treat them as they treat us, we've only sunk to their level.

They will continue with these stupid BS issues ("ground 2 blocks from zero mosque," Shirley Shirrod, birth certificate, etc) forever because that's all they've got. They don't worry about the truth they will just pull this stuff out forever. We waste energy and resources by fighting it. We need to define a vision and leave them behind.

When they get no positive response from their bad behavior is the only point at which they will realize it is no longer paying off. But don't count on that happening, or it motivating them to change their ways.
