Howard Dean Compares "Civil Unions Compromise" To Mosque Controversy

Dean thinks the downtown NYC mosque should be located elsewhere, a "good reasonable compromise" he compared to the creation of civil unions when he was governor of Vermont.

5. This issue is not going to make or break any election. There is
an anti Muslim elecment on the Right--in form of some
Fundamentalists Leaders. LeHay has run work shops which
could be described as ant-Muslim. Hagee, VanIMpe Franklin
Graham and in no way to disrespect the dead, Fallwell.
These Leaders have great influence over their followers.
Heck, Hagee and VanImpe have called Obama the anti-Christ.

This is no small part of the Republican Party. Very influential
in Red States. Sure, you can not invite them to be on TV(MSM)
They have their own Televsion Stations and Programs, thank you.
Democrats have to run in these red states.
I guess my point is---some issues can be volatile. This is why
Religion is such a dicey subject. Right now, the Righties
hold sway.

I am not saying what is right or wrong--rather, what is.
