As a woodchuck, I think that donating to DU is a chucklish thing to do.
While there is still division and anti-Democratic sentiment, I think that DU has come a long way since the new rules were instituted. And isn't that what woodchuckery is about: rewarding and encouraging further progress, even if the ultimate goal has not been met? There will always be people who break the rules on a board where people are given the freedom to act before their actions are scrutinized and moderated, so there will always be some noise; that's OK. I think DU is headed in the right direction, and want to encourage it further.

This is not to say that people who are not woodchucks do not have their own reasons to donate, or that woodchucks contribute more than the others; I just think that it fits in with our philosophy to support DU as it is in the midst of implementing some risky and difficult decisions for which it has made sacrifices.

3. Woodchucks should donate more to make up for revenue they've cost DU by harassing good people away?
Yes. I agree.

Good OP.
