Another week passes by without Elizabeth Warren protecting Consumers
And the financial fuckings of the powerless continue. Maybe its too much to ask to have one good woman in the Government. Actually I think the shame isn't that Professor Warren hasn't been nominated to the post, its that every post hasn't been filled with people of her caliber.

4. How is my post BS? People in GD-P swore up and down Warren would be given the job by Obama.

So much for your BS call out of me. Here's PROOF for ya.

"Elizabeth Warren to be nominated by White House next week, according to Katrina van den Heuvel

WH (& others) indicate Elizabeth Warren 2 be nominated next week to head Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Kudos 2 all who worked 4 her"

Fact.

Your post, not a fact.

Do you think Katrina van den Heuvel is in the WH?

8. the administration is in a box
the base is demanding her, but appointing her could mean a further 3-4% decline in equities and a complete abandonment of the ability of Democrats to raise money on Wall St. or among any industry leaders in all sectors of the economy. The money has already flipped from about 70% going to Democrats two years ago to 70% going to Republicans among that group, and they are terrified someone who has a glowing role in Michael Moore's anti capitalism movie would be installed as their industry overlord. No matter what most on this forum may believe, the capitalists generally don't look favorably on anything advocated by Michael Moore and like it or not, they're the ones with the money and the ones responsible for investment and job growth.

10. I might agree that they are the ones with all the money, but not the responsibility angle
because if they are responsible for investment and job growth they have been failing for a long time now.

11. So you're saying that nomination of this one woman would both destroy the economy and the Party?
