The CNBC's "Money Honey" (married to a billionaire) on the Today Show:

People will feel good!! Stocks will surge!!! Economy could turn around!! If Republicans get back in power!!

Folks...your propaganda machine is in high gear for the home stretch to the election.

1. Do you really think this is a big stretch?
The rich in this country are holding their money in their pockets over the black guy in the white house. Haven't you heard? He's a muslim!

2. CNBC is a joke.
Unless you buy shares in blocks of 10,000. The drive for ever increasing profits prevent something they never talk about, investment in plant and equipment here in the United States. You know that Global economy bullshit. That station gives the finger to American workers everyday. Fuck them.

4. Yes indeed. Of course it will. The rich are holding back investment
until they are assured that their taxes will not go up. I've said it before...the nation is being extorted.

5. But is it true?
If the market goes up, my retirement account balance goes up. That's what I'm living off these days.

8. Historically, the market favors Democrats:
http://www.investopedia.com/articles/financial-theory/08/political-party-democrat-republican-stock-returns.asp

"...a 2003 study conducted at the University of California's Anderson School produced numbers that reveal significantly better stock market returns when the nation's highest office is held by a Democrat."

25. DEMAND DEMAND DEMAND
DRIVES ANY ECONOMY
NO SALES= NOTHING

SUPPLY FOLLOWS DEMAND

TRY MAKING THINGS NOT WANTED.

MAKE SOME CABBAGE PATCH DOLLS
MAKE SOME FORD PINTOS

Big Three auto did not react to demand for smaller more fuel efficient as gas prices zoomed
in 1970s and 1980s

Small foreign took over.

I know from experience
In apparel. Largest in nation.
Mens Socks. Biggest.
Recall Gold Cup.
A bulky knit wool crew sock without a stripe.
Strip had been fad for several years.
Competitor-- Gold Cup came out without the stripe.
At two national sales conventions I heard "we need it without stripe".
OH! "Stripe sales still good". uh huh
Ate our cake.
Finally put in without stripes.
Sold well but Gold Cup had jump and ate our cake for five years.

Go make a three stripe sock. Lose $$

DEMAND KEY Price-service-quality Wal-Mart has lock on price.

Windup Watch sell them
rayon tires sell them

14. This has been the talking point for months. I stopped watching CNBC and the rest of the propaganda
machines after the 2004 election. The ONLY business/news I watch is Bloomberg, which isn't perfect, but at least does NOT have their HOSTS spreading right wing talking points

If it makes you feel any better bartiromo, and most of the gang on CNBC are notoriously wrong about their insights. They made a laughing stock of themselves when they were pushing Countrywide, and the financial stocks before the big crash, which of course they didn't predict, and were pushing people to buy all the way down. It was only after the market touched bottom that it was obvious what a fraud they were.

John Stewart, not only destroyed crammer, but also destroyed bartiromo, and the other idiots on CNBC.

If she says the market will surge if the repukes win, mark that on your calender, and if the repukes do win watch them proven wrong again like they have so many times before. They are an embarrassment

You want less frustration, watch bloomberg, PBS, and CSPAN. Don't waste time on the so-called MSM media machines, they are worthless if you are trying to gain accurate information

20. Sadly, this was on NBC'S TODAY SHOW which has nearly 5 million viewers
compared to CNBC - which has under 200,000 daytime viewers.

The channel is a corporate cheerleading squad.

Flood NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC with emails in their comment section today.
That was bald-faced bullshit right there. There is absolutely no reasonable basis for that statement. None.
She was campaigning, pure and simple.

18. They've clearly already won the election
What's the point of even having an election, anyway? We might as well cancel it and let the Repubs have all the congressional seats. Obama and Biden should then step down and let Boehner become president. then the US will be a paradise, and everyone will get a free kitten.

19. The stock market was over 14,000 when the economy bombed ?
So the stock market was not an indicator of a strong economy - it was a big reason the economy crashed. Wall Street is not the same as Main Street. I fail to see her point.

Simple answer

DERIVATIVES--------------GAMBLING----------------------

Before 2000, Investors put money into stocks of corporations.
Wall Street Banks/investment Firms used it to start new busineses, expand current ones nd create JOBS.
