How about this, let the tax cuts on the rich expire. Replace it with

a 1 year rebate on the payroll tax (that would offsett that revenue loss 100%) for everyone making up to the $106,000. That way you don't raise taxes, can't be blamed for increasing the deficit and the rich would still get a tax cut on their first $106,000. The money is put into peoples pockets that will spend it and stimulate the economy rather than speculating on Wall Street.

1. Maybe we should make this permanent and forget normal people paying period.

Make the rich pay all the taxes and all under 250k pay zero.

Or we start from the top and take everything til all the bills are paid. Then there is an absolute ceiling on how much people make.
