Too much family history.

I was terrified MCCain was going to choose her for a running mate, but he (or his handlers) did a 180.

3. I don't think she would ahve accepted. I 'm not sure how healthy she is, and she's a pretty
private person relatively speaking in terms of political life. That would be impossible on a presidential ticket.

2. It'll never happen, and even if it did all you would have gotten was another
conservadem.

She's nice. I like her. I even voted for her a few times. But I'd rather see her be wooed across the aisle bill by bill than added to the Dems and help pull them rightward.

The Repigs are going to try to entice at least a few of our Senators over to the dark side of the Force. They probably won't have to even try hard with Baucus and Nelson.
