So about the "class warfare" thing
Edited on Thu Sep-23-10 04:35 PM by Cyrano
You hear the words "class warfare" coming out of the mouths of Limbaugh, the Fox "News" cretins, and other pundits who are bought, paid for and owned by the super wealthy who own just about everything.

Yes, there is class warfare going on in America. And most of us are the victims of it. One of the oldest argumentative tactics in existence is to accuse the other guy of what you yourself are doing.

The wealthy, the owners, the power brokers, bankers, Wall Street, and international business interests are screwing us beyond our powers to comprehend. They have already stolen just about everything we have and hope to have. But they're far from done. If nothing else, burn these words into your minds. They want it all.

Yet, every time we speak up, we are accused of inciting "class warfare." Don't buy this crap they're throwing at us. These are criminals who are telling us that we are responsible for being robbed by them.

"Class Warfare." Every time someone throws those words in your face, throw them back at them. It will be hard for them to defend while they're walking out of their favorite $200 lunch restaurant, and you're holding a hot dog.

1. Life is like a shit sandwich...
The more bread you have, the less shit you have to eat.

The rich have 98% of the bread, and they want the few remaining crumbs left stuck to our shit.

2. Greed and materialism is a devastating addiction
The thing is for the uber-rich, it is never enough. They're addicted to consumerism. Just like an alcoholic, gambling addict, or meth freak -- they're always out for the next fix. Consumerism is a bona-fide addiction.

3. Ironically the extremely rich are not truly affected by it
there is a limit on how many cars and houses you can have.

What they are affected by is greed... but consumerism that is what ails most of us.

4. I won't even put it in quotes. I am not letting those bastards own those words.
Class warfare is.

It is similar to dating: It may be a turn off that it is a game; but it is a game, so deal with it. It may be a turn off that this is economic and class warfare; but it is warfare, so let's deal with it.

8. They attack us with bazookas, and accuse us of starting a war.
What else is new. It is always our fault, not matter what "it" is.

10. What the Rush cretins don't mention is that most of their listeners fall into
the class they (rich mouthpiece) are at war with! And of course they are just the foot soldiers for the super wealthy like you say. They know who butters their bread and it ain't the working person!
