Our two most savvy pols are speaking positively about the Tea Party.
Bill Clinton and Howard Dean are sympathizing with tea partiers dislike of both parties and our political system. Dean says that while he does not like the more extreme views, that the idea of a party driven by the people is what his campaign was all about.
People upset with government is probably the norm. We need to find a way to win over the sane ones.
3. I was listening to a right wing radio show and they were talking to a woman who
wrote a book about the tea party founder in Oregon I think. She said what got the founder to get involved was the fact that they were under water with their house and mortgage. A few sentences later she said the founder was a firm believer in unregulated free markets.
Now the way I see it and the way it really happened was the deregulated financial markets were the cause of her being under water.
Now she is the founder of the tea party in Oregon and is mad but stupid so were are the mad smart tea party members Dean's talking about?
Obama will congratulate the teabaggers for their efforts and make sure the leftists are further pushed away. Clinton, et al, are just testing the water (tea?).
