Watching this morning's This Week town hall on Islam

Watching this morning's This Week town hall on Islam
First, I want to say I think the show was a good idea, that was mostly executed well. But, I have to say it was at times surreal to watch. In a month in which we had nine suicides of teens bullied for being gay or thought to be gay, and had some downright ugly religious comments made about them, including this:

I have to say it was downright bizarre to see figures of the religious right such as Franklin Graham and Ralph Reed tell Moslems they need to speak out against extremest clerics. Oh really? Where are the Christian denunciations of the little thugs who drove these boys to an early grave? Where is the Christian denunciaiton of the lot project (I didn't even link that but it has to be been to be believed)? It was Jesus himself who said remove the board from your own eye before you attempt to remove the mote from someone else's. 9 dead gays and not even a mention on a Sunday program. Wonder why we are so pissed off? Wonder no more.
