Steven Jobs: Gore will become president if he runs
Apple chief Steve Jobs recently spoke with TIME Magazine to reveal his opinion on the former vice president of the United States, Al Gore, with regard to the upcoming presidential election.

"If he ran, there's no question in my mind that he would be elected," said Jobs, referring to Gore. "But I think there's a question in his mind, perhaps because the pain of the last election runs a lot deeper than he lets most of us see."

Al Gore joined Apple's board of directors in 2003 and likely played some part in the Cupertino-based company's recent decision to reveal its environmental policies and plans for the future.

Gore also led the committee that investigated Apple's recent stock options scandal, clearing all current Apple management of any wrongdoing. To critics who say they were surprised that Gore took on the lead role of the investigation, Gore simply replied "That's silly."

1. Steve is right. Gore will wipe any of the GOP idiots off the map.
Al Gore will be the next president if he wants it.

2. The massive amounts of monies in Silcon Valley are holding
back on donations and awaiting Gore. That is well known and documented.

3. But Gore is now on the board of two of the most powerful companies
in the world, Google, and Apple. He's revered world wide, that might be better than being a prisoner of the presidency.

Right now Gore is a free man, doing what he loves. Why give that up for one of the worst jobs in the world? The worst is basketball coach at the University of Kentucky.

4. John Doerr is one of them
Hell, his windfall profits from Google, alone, could finance Gore's entire campaign.

6. I can't fathom th pain he and Tipper
must have felt after november 2000.And yet he had the courage to remove himself to prevent a constitutional crisis. I can see where he might not want to do that work again when there is so much he can accomplish behind the scenes.

Al and Tipper Gore are my heroes.
