Apparently this is what passes for "humor" in right-wing fantasy land.

From the RNC News Network's sad little ripoff of The Daily Show, called "Something or Other"

1. Lorenzo have some bills to pay?
Or is he trying to keep his union card by doing gigs like this?

2. He sold his Harley to a Bulgarian Talkshow Host
I'd say that's hurting for money...

Jesus, even with an open mind I can't laugh at this shit. It's not that it's opposing viewpoint "offends my delicate senses"...no, it's just not f***ing funny.

Nice laugh track.

3. I was thinking the same thing about the laugh track
Even that seemed strained.

Well, the next step for Lorenzo is a *stolen* porn tape. Or a guest spot on O'Reilly's show, as a political commentator.

4. If that show makes it past the season
I'll be amazed.

The ironic thing is that is was made to 'compete' with the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show:

1. Admit they are not real news shows right-off-the-bat, and the fact that most people find their honest yet humorous approach appealingly smacking with reality is just proof that the Media is hardly 'liberal.'
2. Really don't take the Democratic side insofar as they rip on everyone. If it seems that they rip on the RW more it just shows how far President Dippy Dog and his intrepid band of criminals have gone.
3. Are genuinely funny and well written.
4. Have a studio audience.

This piece of crap will never be able to hone up to any of those. Hell if the 1/2 Hour News Hour wanted to have a studio audience they'd have to clone that Marguerite lady (GARGOYLES!!! DARKSIDED!!!) from Trading Spouses about 200 times.

5. it will survive if Rupert wants it to
He's funded more stinkers in the past, just to be sure he get's his version of reality out there. It's a horrible show - but that doesn't seem to matter. After all -- it's FOX.

6. It just doesn't get any better than that.
"Tight script. Non-stop laughs. Biting sarcasm."
But that was the review of my analysis of that bullshit.

Holy crap, that was awful. They had 30 seconds of material and tried to s-t-r-e-t-c-h into 3:30. I think 9/11 conspiracy theorists are hilarious, but that little skit missed every funny part about it.

7. Never forget...
It takes a month to produce one episode of this shit,
but Stewart and Colbert produce 4 shows per week.

Now that's funny.
