I am an Iraq War Veteran. I strongly request you to say no to a blank check funding Bush's war of choice in Iraq. Having served in Iraq, I suspect most troops, in their hearts, are pulling for the Democratic Congress to deny Bush money to continue the slaughter in Iraq. While I realize troops already in Iraq need funds for their continued support and safety, please urge your caucus to deny funds for further military agression in Iraq.

Democrats have an obligation to serve the best interests of our country. Please vote your conscience and forget about being reelected in 2008. If the Democrats fail to act now, history will judge the democratic party an accomplice in this U.S. war of agression. Thank you.

If you know any other service members who served in Iraq and saw it first hand, can you ask them to write her too? They need to hear it from those who were on the ground.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't active duty military reluctant to send in letters and such to voice their opinions? They really need your voice and I appreciate you doing that.

Dear Nancy,

The people in your district need funds for housing, health care, education and disaster management. We need it now. Please help us get what we need instead of funding Bush’s cronies in Iraq. Please help us bring our troops home instead of allowing them to remain sitting ducks in a foreign civil war. Our service people deserve so much better than this. Please support them by bringing them home alive.

I trust you and Harry Reid and I want to support you. Please help me continue to do that by holding Mr. Bush accountable for his misuse of our troops and treasure in Iraq and for his crimes against the Iraqi people

Meanwhile, my celebration of Memorial Day will be to contribute to the Kucinich Campaign because I remember that he has been a clear voice for peace and for accountability all this long time, and I will continue to remember that.
