Out of Iraq and Off of Oil

I just got another solicitation from a Democratic pollster (this time Ted Kennedy's Democratic Majority) asking what issues were most important to me and Global Warming was not even on the list! What the hell is wrong with these people? Do they even have a frickin' clue as to what's going in the world? The Democratic Party needs to run on the slogan Out of Iraq and Off of Oil. But instead, they give Bush another blank check for the war and they have no policy that I can see on what to do about the two biggest impending crises in modern history with regard to fossil fuels and carbon emissions. The 2006 elections will be an aberration if they don't pull their heads out of their asses and show some real leadership.
