Anyone else think Maria B. gushed and swooned like a school girl announcing the Dow had risen 18%
during King George's reign, but even a much higher percentage since 2003? I'm referring to Maria B., the anchor of CNBC's 4:00 to 5:00pm EST segment, the Closing Bell. My take was it was like a school girl swooning over a big rock star, but what the hell, I dubious of any reported good coming from any of this administration's policies or actions.

3. I watch it all the time
It rises in spite of Bush. It dropped in advance of his taking the Presidency. I used to watch it drop every time he spoke. It rose when Democrats won the November elections. I am certain that it would have been higher that 18% without Bush. If it's rising now, the market is pricing in the value of his impeachment. Money is money.

6. I've not watched Maria Bartiromo since Enron crashed.
Or CNBC for that matter. I will never forget how CNBC covered that event that morn, they were all innocent faces with false surprise topically applied. One month before they tanked, I called my well heeled sister to make sure she had none of this stock. I'm a housewife for Christs sake and saw this coming a month beforehand. And there is oh so sweet et adorable Maria Bartiromo all shocked about the "Unfolding Enron Mess" the day of its crash. BARF.

8. In the summer of 2001
when California was "enjoying" the rolling blackouts and Enron was flying high, I warned my wife there would be a backlash. People will not stand for this type of stuff.
