What is everybody saying when you call your Senators?
I'm ready to call Levin and Stabenow, I need a good statement in support for filibustering this bill.

4. I say that giving away billions to billionaries is obscene while
families are sleeping on the streets

and that the so called "payroll tax holiday is an attack on the pay-as-you-go status of Social Security and that's insane.

Then I repeat, "See, it's both obscene and insane."

6. Simply ask them to support the filibuster
and kill this tax cut agreement. I don't think it needs to be a very long conversation. You are asking your representative to represent your wishes.

That's what they get paid to do.

10. Thanks, I'm still trying to get through. I sent an email but would
rather talk directly to their offices.

8. Sen Boxer "She hasn't released a statement on it"
So you don't know whether she'll join or support the filibuster?

No ma'am. She hasn't released a statement.

13. Jesus, I still can't get through to Levin and Stabenow. Stabenow's
voice mail is filled and Levin's is just a busy signal.

14. Here's what I told Kay Hagan's office
Gave my name, said I was a Democrat that worked to help get Obama supported - and that I was calling because of the Sanders filibuster.
Said I was angry at the scheme that is on the table and that no way can the tax break be extended to those who do not need it and on whom it will be wasted. Told them that I think Senator Hagan should get her butt over to help out Bernie Sanders, because if the plan goes through, it is a disaster. Told them I was very angry at what I am seeing - you get the idea. Gave them an earful. Told them I was willing to pay higher taxes myself, but we are leaving so much of the country behind.....etc etc.

Felt good - they politely listened to me, took my name and zip code, and thanked me.
