5. Those rotten jobs were getting in his way.
Now if he would cry for the unemployed who he thinks shouldn't get insurance.

7. I can understand this because he worked his way through.
Palin took many years and Daddy was paying for it. Did you see Boner cry his way through the 60 Minutes interview?

10. And it's going to take me about as long too
There's plenty of legitimate things to attack him, working his way and taking longer through college isn't one of them.

16. You are right and I did the same thing. But you know something?
I never was out there crying about the rotten jobs I worked while going to school. There is something quite unhinged about him. I went through the same as him with my head held high and enjoyed my lot in life. This guy has a chip on his shoulder.

25. I carried bed pans as a Nurse's Aide to get thru under grad ...
... and I did a hell of a lot of other things which were just as charming. But unlike Boner, that is in the past...way in the past.

15. Book learnin' & schoolin's hardwerk..dontchaknow?
If you look into the educational records of MANY prominent republicans, you'll probably find the same results..

Lots of "attended <insert college name here>"s and lots of drop outs who may have "finished" via a diploma mill..

28. Y'know . . . I agree with you up to a point.
I have many friends and relatives who took longer than the so-called standard 4 years to get a degree.

On the other hand, a lot of us have worked our asses off to get an education in the standard 4 years. Or in 5 or 6.

I worked multiple jobs throughout my college years (+ a Christmas job + a summer job) to make it through. I knew many others just like me, who came from families that just couldn't pay for it. So I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for someone like Boehner, who now looks down on people who struggle.

USAF. That, in itself is not a negative thing. Fortunately, I spend a year of that USAF enlistment learning Russian at Syracuse U. That chopped a year off the time I had to spend in an actual civilian college.

Boner's a dick. That's all I need to know.

20. Why does that matter.
I have gone to school part time since 1990, and am only now working on my masters. I work full time, raise a faimly.

I think Boehner is an asswipe, but not because it took him time to get his degree.

A lot of people take their time in college. A lot of us had to work while in college, and there are only so many hours in a day.
