Vintage card/folding tables
I don't see any Samson (Samsonite) folding card tables on ebay, but there's an ad that shows 2 tables that I saw today at a thrift store:

It's curious that I don't see the tables themselves on ebay - are these very collectible, or not at all collectible?

1. I never see card tables for resale ANYWHERE
And I guess that's because everyone who has one uses it. I don't even see the non-wooden newer ones for resale. I don't see a lot of vintage simple bookcases, either.

Some things are just too usable to give up.

2. Well I ended up buying one of them
Pretty sure it dates to around 1947 because it has the tag on it with the price: $3.95

There are plenty of ebay items for the ads for these tables throughout the years, it's interesting to watch how the prices have gone up, lol.

But there is still another one at the store (or was), it's the one with the checkerboard pattern on it, but the price on that one I think was $6.95 so clearly from a different era. Also, the name on that one "Samsonite" instead of just Samson.

This is the one I got, it's very art deco:
