yesterday in Seattle.
He's giving pretty much the identical speech. That's understandable, I'm sure they have to - they're visiting so many places in one day, and day after day.
But I'm thinking, Joe would be giving more than his usual speech. Joe would, as usual, be talking to the people, being Joe, and being REAL.
Again, not to impugn Obama or Clinton, but there's something missing.
Hard to describe, but you all know what I mean.
I miss Joe SO MUCH! :(
EDIT to add that Obama is getting great response because he talks about the importance of teaching the arts, poetry, etc., and I think Bill Richardson was going along those lines.
Also, saying that "we" will ensure that everyone who wants to go to college will be helped but required to give back to the country by giving a year of time to the Peace Corps, Forest Service, etc., and I think that was Dodd's approach.
And finally, "I can hardly wait to debate John McCain on foreign policy (because of his opposition to the war all along) which is obviously a Joe-inspired line from Joe's "I can hardly wait to debate Rudy Giuliani"....
We let the best ones go, but again, you all know that.
