MSNBC just said Joe will be giving a statement about Senator Byrd shortly. Was

Byrd the only Senator remaining who has served in the Senate longer than Joe?

I remember Byrd breaking down after Teddy died. :cry:

1. Inouye from Hawaii is now the longest, 47 years (!).

Stevens, Kennedy were at 40 and 46 years.
Joe was there for 36 years.

All of them, a really long time.
