I don't watch as much as I used to but I can't recall last time I saw Joe on CNN.

3. I haven't watched CNN in a long, long time

Too many flashy gimmicks and annoying journalists. Wolf Blitzer's voice is like chalk on a blackboard for me. Maybe if they spent more of their money on actual journalism, instead of high-tech useless gimmicks, they might actually be considered a News Channel.

4. The only one I really like on that station is Fareed Zakaria.

David Gergen isn't bad & Cooper isn't horrible, but the rest are worthless. Rick Sanchez - I'd like to know in what journalist text book, does his show qualify as a "news" show?

Most of the people who call themselves journalists are nothing but 'newscasters.' And what they spew is often times not even news, but propaganda.

Have you seen that photo of Wolf on the Jeopardy Show with his shamefully low score? :rofl:

5. Hi -- who is Fareed Zakaria? I really like Anderson Cooper when

he's on location and telling the truth about what's going on. I don't watch him otherwise, though, since I'm usually tuned in to MSNBC.

Haven't seen the pic of Wolf but heard he really tanked.

6. Cooper is good when he's out in the field.

Zakaria has a Sunday morning show & is sometimes a guest on other CNN shows. I remember before the 2008 election, Cooper had a round table discussion with Zakaria & Gergen - just the three of them. It was fantastic!! There was no shouting or interrupting & the discussion had depth. I was really impressed. I wish they would do more like that.

7. I'll have to check him out. Just looked him up and here's what

it says on his site:

I've seen him, recognize the pic, but never really paid attention. I'll do so now. I haven't really seen or heard Gergen in ages, probably because he's on CNN. I'd better get with it! :hi:

11. The Daily Show is one thing I never watch. Just never remember during the

day, and Jim yells at me about 3 times a week to watch it online, but I never seem to do that, either. The clips I have seen are great!

12. Oh man, when Jon hits it out of the park, it's a thing of beauty!

He did a segment on Afghanistan several weeks ago right after the story about their mineral wealth. It was one of his all time greats. I'm gonna have to find it & watch it again. My only gripe about Jon is he's too soft when he interviews right wing guests.

My husband likes Colbert better. ;)

Turns out he's as dumb as he looks and sounds. Unbelievable that he has such a valuable time slot. He has no talent or credibility. He isn't even pleasing to look at. Don't get it.

I like Jack Cafferty, but it is no longer worth it to sit through the clueless and uninspiring to listen to him.
