I am now of the opinion, and I don't say this lightly, Joe is going

to very likely do a 2 or 3 on Thursday. I'm somewhat of a handicapper and after what I've been reading on other sites, forget these polls. After listening to the real news and political junkies like us, even those Republicans unhappy with their choices are liking Joe. I realize they cannot caucus for him, but I just think he's going to do very well. I was noticing the stone-faced, grim looking guys in the back of the room, possibly Nam vets. They know BS when they hear it. They were nodding in the positive whenever the camera happened to go by them. Nuances like this are important. Hope I'm right.

2. The Republicans CAN vote for a Democrat.

They are able to change their registration at the caucus and then can change it back to Repug later on, if they wish. We change our party all the time. I used to change, just to stay off the lists. Iowa won't let you declare Independent, so you have to keep them guessing. :P

Anyway, if they truly want to vote for Biden, they can. They just don't want to go into the Republican caucus unless they get out before 7:00, as they will be locked in.
