1. It's also the headquarters of the Catholic Church in Honduras

The Episcopal Conference is based there too and the building are side-by-side. Cops said 14 bullets were fired at the buildings. There is speculation the attack may have been because of the church's anti-Zelaya stance. But who in the resistance had the weapons to do something like this??? Could be a golpista smokescreen to blame the resistance.

The Episcopal Conference groups Honduras' 11 bishops, including the openly golpista cardenal of Honduras, Andres Rodriguez.

(Btw about two weeks ago saw where he was in Rome to meet the pope. Wondered at the time whether the pope had told him to get his holy butt to Rome to explain his support for the golpistas.)

2. Superb likeness. Great! Sure hope he sees it.
He's no Arch-Bishop Romero, is he?

Thanks for the information.

3. It does sound very much like a "false flag" operation like Operation Northwoods.
No doubt you've got their number.

The people have stressed the importance of a NON-VIOLENT resistance. It's not likely theyl would change courses now.

4. Yeah, I agree! They've got hundreds of death squad thugs in the country,
using the excuse of "protecting families" (of the rich) against the raging mobs of poor people--LOL!--and they're trying to get the Catholic prelates on board in support of these mercenaries. Maybe one of the bishops said, "Hiring out-of-country assassins is not a good idea," and they are trying to teach the bishops how necessary it is? By shooting up the seminary?

I don't for a minute believe that anybody on the left would do this. It is classic anti-democracy psyops--right out of the playbook. It benefits the left (the democrats) not at all. It justifies violence against the left--an entirely peaceful movement. And it throws some terror into the bishops to keep them in line. I hope the bishops rebel. Doubt if there's much chance of it. But it would be good to see the Church on the side of the Christians.
