Peruvian president-elect expects to see Chávez soon
Peruvian President-elect Ollanta Humala postponed on Monday his tour of Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador to coincide with President Hugo Chávez's return to Caracas. The Venezuelan Head of State is recovering after undergoing surgery in Cuba.

"Precisely for this reason, the health of President Hugo Chávez ...we have postponed (the meeting planned for this week.) We will visit Venezuela next week," Humala told TV-Peru when asked if he had organized the visit taking into account Chávez's health,'' AP reported.

Chávez arrived in Cuba last week and was underwent surgery on June 10 for a pelvic abscess.
