Jon Stewart catches Newt Gingrich in ANOTHER LIE on his show last night

I don't have the video yet, but there was a portion of the interview with Jon Stewart and Newt Gingrich where Newt was trying to lie about Obama's treatment of Umar Abdulmutallab getting miranda rights and somehow not being treated "like a terrorist".

So Jon prodded him and said that the shoe bomber Richard Reid was treated the same way that Abdulmutallab was.

Well, snivelly fat Newt interjected that Reid was an American, not like Abdulmutallab, who was not.

THAT WAS A BIG LIE. Of course, it will be "proof" for the Right Wing Echo Chamber of Palm Readers to mention.

But the fact is that Richard Reid is BRITISH. Stewart made that point at the end of the show.

Maybe Newt doesn't know where Britain is.

That's what's so despicable about career liars like Newt Gingrich. He lies so convincingly and with such confidence that it makes the other person assume he knows what he's talking about.

When Newt said that Reid was American, I was screaming at the TV that he was British... but the interview went on to another set of Newt lies...
