Allred Files for Governor's Race

March 8, 2010 – Today Keith Allred, candidate for governor 2010, filed the necessary signatures with the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office to run as a Democrat for the office of governor of Idaho.

“This race is about putting problem solving ahead of politics in order to get Idahoans back to work,” Allred said. “Idaho needs good ideas, positive thinking and a leader who thinks before he acts. For these reasons and many more, I’m excited to run for governor of the state I love.”

This election comes at a time when Idaho’s current leadership is sorely lacking.

“We’re getting the weakest leadership in a generation from Governor Otter just when, in our current economic circumstances, we need leadership the most,” Allred said.
