McCain and the teabagger have a Democratic Challenger!!
Meet Rodney Glassman

http://www.rodneyglassman.com/about-rodney/

He has spent his entire life around helping the community...and he is currently in the Tucson City Council.

I would love to once again have a Democrat represent Arizona in the Senate.

Let's just hope this guy has some balls and can get his message out. The Dem that ran against Kyl in 2006 ran a terrible campaign..hope Rodney was paying attention.

1. interesting family business for Arizona
I wonder how he turned the business around, maybe he moved it indoors? ;-)

Anyway, good luck to Rodney, how are his chances?

2. Name recognition is going to be his biggest issue. For people that don't pay attention to politics
McCain is Arizona. Even Hayworth has more name recognition than Glassman. Tucson is teeny compared to Phoenix, so he does have a challenge.

IF he runs an assertive campaign, he just might have a chance. When Obama took Janet Napolitano, our Governor, the Sec of State took over - she is a crazy republican and she is running Az into the ground. We no longer have S-Chip. When some large Solar Co was looking for a home, she didn't even fight for it. Arizona could've made that sale. While the rest of the country is seeing improvement in the housing market, Az is still in decline. There just might be enough people in this state that are ready for a change.

4. He worked as a congressional aide to Congressman Grijalva.
He is also a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force JAG Reserve.
He sounds like a great guy, seems to have a love of volunteering and service to his community. Makes the McLame and Hayworth look like the subhumans they are.

5. He sounds like a good bet against 'Gramps' and the 'rabid pit bull'.
Grijalva is my Congressman and I'm 100 percent for Raul.

He knows how to smile...:D

Nice looking couple, I see life and intelligence in those faces... things that beat McCain and Hayworth by a Kentucky Mile...

8. Yay, I was waiting and hoping for this..I
saw a thread in GD about 2 weeks ago..reporting that Rodney Glassman was exploring the possibility.

I told my friend in Phoenix about him..who wants hayworth to beat mccain and the unknown(at the time)Dem to whip hayworth.

I read a little of his bio before..he's originally from NY and is in Tucson now..with a lot of community service to his credit.

Wouldn't that be an amazing story..the good guy comes up from Tucson and wins the Senate Seat from Arizona?!
