AG Holder to Hold a Press Briefing re: BP at 3:30pm

After 40 days and 40 nights, the administration puts the bit in BP’s mouth. In a prelude to the aggressive, highly visible criminal investigation that Playbook told you was coming (subpoenas, etc.), Attorney General Eric Holder today “will survey areas affected by the Gulf oil spill and meet with state Attorneys General and U.S. Attorneys from the region.” Then he’ll hold an avail. at 3:30 p.m. ET (2:30 local) at the Hale Boggs Federal Building in the Big Easy.
