Rangel's in for reelection

Embattled Harlem Rep. Charles Rangel is set to declare his campaign for reelection Sunday despite ongoing questions about whether he would actually get into the race, according to multiple sources.

The announcement is set for Sunday afternoon in Washington Heights, the sources said.

Despite stepping down "temporarily" from his House Ways and Means chairmanship, Rangel had insisted he would fight on for his seat.

But he's facing at least three challengers, including state Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV, the son of the man Rangel defeated as a reform candidate decades ago in a race for New York's 15th congressional district seat.
