Republican Governor and possible 2012 candidate: Obama BP response more right than wrong

Barbour Endorses Obama BP Response As "More Right Than Wrong"

Guv backs federal efforts in spill aftermath on "Meet the Press" Sunday.

And/But: Says "nothing's satisfactory until the well's shut in." Permalink

Haley Barbour is the governor of Mississippi and former RNC chair.

If the response is more right than wrong to someone that's going to try to take President Obama's job away from him in 2 years, what's your problem: Jindal Ass kisser republican hack Anderson Cooper, Sarah Palin, Chris Matthews, Jake Tapper, various left wing and right wing internet people??

To me, what this symbolizes is that the BP response criticism is about nothing more than trying to take down President Obama in 2012 or about people bitter at him for different reasons. If it is good enough for Barbour, it should be good enough for everyone. It is not in Barbour's political best interests to defend the President at all.

5. +1
lots of reasons why Haley Barbour does and says various things. Decency is not among those reasons.

8. And this is a testament to the President's charisma and personal powers of persuasion....
Edited on Sun Jun-20-10 06:36 PM by Clio the Leo
... if he could, somehow, speak to every voter individually, I have no doubt he'd win 2012 unanimously.

Part of me wishes he'd spend an hour alone talking with Sarah Palin just to see how she'd behave when they were done.
